  • Distributed systems: Architected a durable, high-volume distributed scheduler and owned its end-to-end design and implementation, with scalability and failure recovery as core priorities.
  • Server-Driven UI: Led backend architecture and delivery from inception to production for a platform serving 1B+ requests/day across iOS, Android, and Web. Designed version management, schema evolution, and data models for dynamic customer journeys.
  • Platform adoption: Guided cross-functional adoption through an admin UI builder and reusable, multi-tenant components; integrated localization, A/B testing, and personalization signals.
  • Communications: Architected and owned scheduling and delivery capabilities across Push, Notification Center, Critical Alert, and Silent Push for PayPal, Venmo, and Xoom, including work on scalability and multi-region support.
  • Production AI: Built a communications API agent and an MCP server integrated with Claude, exposing platform APIs for natural-language interactions and automated workflows.
  • Agentic engineering: Worked on communication agents using Claude and Gemini, function calling, and prompt orchestration. Pioneered team-wide AI-assisted code generation, complex refactoring, and JUnit/Mockito test development.
  • Frontend ownership: Designed and built a production React portal end to end, used company-wide to schedule and manage communications.
  • Mobile content delivery: Extended server-driven capabilities to native mobile content, with version-aware APIs, reusable content models, and caching to reduce repeated reads.
